Blake Hughes
Owner & DJ
Blake grew up as a drummer and formally earned his bachelor's degree from Full Sail University in Entertainment Business. Since graduation, Blake has worked in audio/visual in the sports and national television industries, as well as in-studio music production. Blake takes great pride in his vast musical knowledge and it is the backbone of The Needle. Blake’s favorite thing about weddings is being able to provide the soundtrack to the biggest day of someone’s life - “It is an absolutely amazing experience, and one that never gets old.”
Maggie Hughes
Blake is joined by his wife, Maggie, who assists in the day to day operation of The Needle. Maggie has 8+ years in the wedding industry, serving Savannah, Sea Island, and St. Simons Island. Maggie’s many years of planning and coordination have given brides and grooms confidence that no stone is left unturned. Maggie’s favorite thing about weddings is witnessing brides and grooms say “I do!”
